Decent staff who was exemplary in her services, new-fashioned and soundproof rooms. Unbeatable and amazing location - a couple of blocks away from a generous stage. Found in a stunningly beautiful area just off Madrid and Barcelona.

Location
4 star hotel in the heart of Barcelona, I liked the location, I did not like it because: room with dwarf, rickety and white curtains, did not cover the window and night seemed to be day. you get out of bed on the left side there is no space to pass 1 person but is on the side and putting the stomach (normal person, not fat), right side if you get up sleepy or very fast you hit a column attached to the side and half of the bed. They don't put a sheet on top. shower is very normal and without thermostat. There is nowhere to sit in the bathroom. You have to move to get the water to fall. To watch TV you can only do it from the bed or side (not from the front) because 1 armchair and 1 chair that has the room are on the side and no matter how much you try you do not get another situation. you can feel the noise of the hotel and street (from the 4th). We stayed to eat 1 day without reservation, we had to go to the terrace with 30° and falling things of the plants in the table, they took a lot in serving and more between plate and plate and to top it off being clients and not having table in dining room they charge us supplement of terrace for person. best thing about the hotel, staff and location

Staff were friendly and helpful, great location near center but on a quiet ( evenings ) side street running off the Pl Catalunya near Ramblas, markets etc.. Room had small balcony and very reasonable price when pre-booking over internet.Clean hotel ideally situated for leisure visits, shopping or business use.
Would not extend pre-booking rate when an additional night's stay was required - regular walk up rate paid for final night as per their policy. Restaurant limited dinner service - primarily a lunch location which for visitors is of limited use.

Very comfortable room and bed with fantastic shower.Very convenient location for sightseeing.
Breakfast very expensive but not a problem as there are many local cafes where you can buy breakfast.Shame there were no tea/coffee making facilities in bedroom.

Excellent location as just off Catalunya Plaza. Nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Great selection of toiletries provided. Chocolates nice touch (and delicious). Didn't make use of facilities so can't comment on them.
TV was head height at foot of bed, so could have easily clipped head while walking past.

Excellent central location, just a few minutes' walk to Pl de Catalunya with all the tourist and airport buses and La Rambla. Our room was not ready when we arrived but we were given complimentary drinks while we waited. We were given a room on the 5th floor with a small balcony and a pleasant outlook, quiet and very smartly decorated and furnished, and with the block-out curtains and a great bed we slept better than anywhere else on our 6 week trip. Roof-top terrace was another plus.
No coffee or tea facilities in the room - in view of the standard of accommodation we found this odd as they were provided at even the most basic hotels during our trip.

The staff were generally friendly and helpfull. I would stay there again on next visit to Spain.
The restaurant did not open for breakfast or at least to provide coffee until 7:00 AM. Early morning flight schedules make this practice a problem for customers.

Perfect Location near Las Rambles and all the Gaudi Sights and the Gothic Area, really everything you would want to do in Barcelona. Hotel decor was really chic and fresh. Great bed, classy bath, lobby, etc.
Do not get a smoking floor room if you don't smoke. Our room was impermeated with smoke.

The location in the middle of Barcelona and the price. The room was very attractive as was the lobby
We were only there for one night. Unfortunately our room was right above the nightclub so it was noisy.
